2009/2010 Waterfowl and Upland game Hunts

We are taking booking for Duck hunts during the month of November 2010 and Jauary 1st thru end of season. Goose hunting also runs thru the duck season for any one who wants to hunt geese as well.  We also do upland game hunts for January 1st thru 31st of 2010 for groups from 3 to 6 hunters . DUCKS, HIGH PLAINS ZONE

DUCKS, EARLY ZONE

  • Season: Oct. 11 - Dec. 7 and Dec. 20 - Jan. 4, 2009
  • Area open: Early Zone (see map)
  • Daily bag limit: 5
  • Possession limit: Twice the daily limit

DUCKS, LATE ZONE

  • Season: Oct. 25 - Dec. 28 and Jan. 17 - 25, 2009

DUCK LIMITS

The daily bag limit for ducks is five. This bag may include no more than two scaup, two redheads, and two wood ducks. In addition, only one duck from the following group may be included in the daily bag: hen mallard, pintail, canvasback, or mottled duck. For example, if a pintail is taken, no hen mallard, mottled duck, or canvasback may be taken that day; if a hen mallard is taken, no pintail, mottled duck, or canvasback may be taken that day, and so forth. The daily bag may comprise five of any other duck, such as five mallard drakes, five teal, or five wigeon. The possession limit is twice the daily bag limit.

LIGHT GEESE

  • Season: Oct. 25 - 26 and Nov. 5 - Feb. 15, 2009
  • Area open: Statewide
  • Daily bag limit: 20
  • Possession limit: No limit
  • NOTE - By special conservation order, light geese may also be taken from Feb. 16 - April 30, 2009. During this period, there will be no bag or possesion limit on light geese. In addition, participants will be allowed to use unplugged shotguns and electronic calls and take light geese from one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset during the period of the conservation order.
