Explanation of tipping Here at camp we had some hunters come through that did NOT know what to tip and would corner us and ask us what to tip. We did not feel comfortable telling people what to tip as the tip should be based on the quality of hunt you feel you received plus the class of deer you took. Therefore, we created a standard tipping chart to help give those hunters an idea what the standard tipping is. Unfortunately, some of our regular clients took that chart to mean a trophy fee on top of the hunting price, when in all actuality it was a guide for those who didn't know what to tip. This is how it was figured; if you were to take your company out for dinner, a 15% tip is what is suggested. Well, a hunt is a larger price than a meal but the concept can be applied to the same way. We hope this clears up any confusion and explains our position. The standard tipping chart is no longer posted but will be available to those who struggle with what to tip and the chart can be used to give them a base idea. Please know that we value all of our hunters and have a large number of returning clients but also enjoy and welcome any new hunters as well! We want your experience and hunt with us to be world class and look forward to seeing you in the years to come! Please feel free, if you have any questions to contact us.
